How to become a Cruise Ship Photographer in South Africa?

  • Anyone with a healthy medical record between the ages of 21 & 35 with a valid South African passport.

  • 3-week course with no prior photography experience or 2-week course with accepted prior photography experience

  • Do the training (2 or 3 weeks, apply to the Cruise line in your 3rd week of training, interview with the Cruise line 1 - 2 weeks after training. Get hired by the Cruise line and get ready to join the ship with having your medical, police clearance and visa in place. Fly to the ship 2 - 4 months after the course.

  • No prior experience is needed as our 3-week course equips you with all the Photography skill needed to become a successful Cruise Ship Photographer.

  • With accepted prior photography experience approved by our course Manager, you can attend the 2-week Cruise ship Photography course.

  • Yes, standard flights to and from the ship are paid for.

  • Yes, accommodation is free while working as a Cruise Ship Photographer aboard your contracted ship.
